Gollgi was pleased to be part of Disrupt London. Disrupt London is a gathering of debuting startups hosted by the famous high-tech magazine "Tech Crunch". The event took place at the Copper Box, Olympic Stadium, Stratford. The aim of the event was to promote promising startups and to give the floor to high-tech innovators about several hot topic issues concerning the high-tech industry.
We profited from this opportunity to promote our e-marketplace and to explain how it is possible to save time by using Gollgi's shopping bot to obtain quotes. Disrupt London is indeed becoming a key event for the British high-tech industry and more broadly for the European ventures. It is not only an excellent opportunity to enhance the visibility of one's business but also a good way to discover interesting startups. For us, it was a great occasion to find startups that are also involved in the field of e-commerce.
We can mention two names of Startups that we really liked:
- Shopcinity: This start-up allows you to check when the price of an item drops by only taking a picture of this item and sending it to their app. When the price drops or similar items become available, you are notified, and you can make a purchase via the app.
- eAutoin: On their website, you will be soon (in 2017) able to receive quotes for car parts from worldwide suppliers. Their aim is to help you to save time when you look for quotes. Buyers have to provide drawings, 3d modelling and specifications to receive quotes. Instead of contacting several OEM (original equipment manufacturers) automative sub-contractors, you can receive quotes from suppliers all over the world after submitting a single request. According to them, purchasing companies will be able to find the most appropriate providers of car parts with the best prices.
We are looking forward to participating in more events of this kind.
